I also have a transgender son and we talk to many many parents of trans kids/teens/adults who want a place to safely express their fears and concerns and we try to educate them on using us as a resource so they can fully love and support their children without putting their emotional needs/stress/fears on their kids.
Navigating the borderlands of the PostMo LGBTQIA community brings its own unique set of challenges. Come find support and friendship with this colorful group! Let your LGBTQIA+ folks know who might be interested in coming and growing their community.
- Bring a dessert or snack to share.
- Attendees will always be given the opportunity to share issues with the group for a fixed period of time followed by mingling.
